BRAWLER

--Unlocks: Build one, or in the Sacred Land in the Dark Realm of WoL.

--Weight, speed, & size are now fixed.

--New f-smash & Fair.

--Ultimate Uppercut has been replaced with Flaming Mach Punch.

--Headache Maker has been replaced with Suplex.

--Piston Punch has been replaced with Thrust Uppercut.

--Foot Flurry has been replaced with Counter Throw.

--Burning Dropkick can no longer be charged.

--Head-On Assault no longer buries.


GUNNER

--Unlocks: Build one, or on the island in the Light Realm of WoL.

--Weight, speed, & size are now fixed.

--New jab combo & pummel.

--Cannon Uppercut has been replaced with Cannon Jump Kick.

--Stealth Burst no longer triggers helpless fall.

--Bomb Drop can now be triggered remotely by repeating the attack.


SWORDFIGHTER

--Unlocks: Build one, or in the village near the chasm in the Light Realm of WoL.

--Weight, speed, & size are now fixed.

--New dash attack, up smash, & pummel.

--Slash Launcher has been replaced with Gale Stab.


3rd-PARTIES


SONIC

--Unlocks: #17 in Vs, #1 in Mario's Classic line, or in the Sacred Land in the Dark Realm of WoL.

--Faster (!!!) & lighter.

--Now takes damage while swimming.

--Dash attack no longer spins.

--Homing Attack is more accurate & now shows a reticle on the targeted character.

--Spin Dash & Spin Charge can no longer charge indefinitely or cross-up. Spin Dash also no longer has an initial hop.

--Super Sonic now can only be angled up & down, not fully controlled.


PAC-MAN

--Unlocks: #49 in Vs, #3 in Kirby's Classic line (after Ness & Jigglypuff), or past the mushrooms in the Light Realm of WoL.

--Faster.

--Up taunt has more display options.

--Altered jab & up-tilt.

--Grab has been streamlined.

--Bonus Fruits now resets if Pac-Man grabs the previous one.

--The Pac-Jump trampoline can now be attacked.

--Super Pac-Man's movement has been altered drastically.


MEGA MAN

--Unlocks: #42 in Vs, #4 in Pikachu's Classic line (after Villager, Shulk, & ROB), or outside the Base in the Light Realm of WoL.

--Faster.

--Crash Bomber can now function as a proximity mine when placed on surfaces.

--Leaf Shield now prevents shielding, grabbing, & ledge grabbing.

--Proto Man & Bass have been added to the cutscene of Mega Legends.


RYU

--Unlocks: #13 in Vs, #3 in Yoshi's Classic line (after Lucario & Marth), or in World Tour in the Light Realm of WoL.

--Faster.

--Double jump higher.

--Now switches to 1-v-1 directional facing when only one opponent remains in free-for-alls.

--Jab & f-tilt now vary based on proximity.


CLOUD

--Unlocks: #55 in Vs, #6 in Samus's Classic line (after Inkling, WFT, Pit, Incineroar, & Dark Samus), or in the Sacred Land in the Dark Realm of WoL.

--Faster.

--Limit Gauge is always visible.

--As of Sephiroth's release date, even numbered Cloud costumes now use Omnislash ver. 5 (source: Advent Children), which actually has slightly different knockback properties than regular Omnislash.


BAYONETTA

--Unlocks: #43 in Vs, #2 in Mario's Classic line (after Sonic), or guarding Crazy Hand in the Final Battle of WoL.

--Faster & lighter.

--Bullet Arts has reduced range.

--Bullet Climax has increased range.

--Infernal Climax no longer fades into its cutscene.


Snake was already covered in Character of the Month #103.

They keep making Sonic less & less spinny, but I like the spinny. :(
