Function: Make your character do things.
--The base controls are roughly the same between the Switch, Gamecube, PS4, PS5, Xbone, & Series X/S controllers.
--There's is a driver issue in Windows 11 that interferes with Gamecube controllers on NASB. Win 10 is fine, though.
--Almost every function can be mapped to the button of almost every other function. Those functions being Light/Strong/Special attack, Jump, Block, Grab, Strafe, & Taunt.
--Control customization is done on the character-select screen, & is vulnerable to the controller-position glitch mentioned in a past column.
--There is no tap jump.
--To drop through soft platforms, you must press jump while holding down.
The platform drop is the least intuitive part of this game, but it's necessary since NASB doesn't distinguish between taps & tilts.
